Covenant House Missouri (CHMO) welcomes four new members to its board of directors this month, adding expertise from a diverse range of areas.
It’s been stated that each night, as many as 3,000 unaccompanied youth are homeless in Missouri. To help combat this problem one house is offering individuals who are not homeless to put themselves in the place of a homeless teenager by sleeping outdoors for one night.
Covenant House Missouri hosted over 50 local and national business executives for its annual Sleep Out - Executive Edition on Thursday, November 15. Executives from Cisco, Edward Jones, Ascension, Duke Manufacturing, SSE Inc. and other companies slept outside in the snow and cold to raise awareness of youth homelessness.
