Covenant House Missouri hosted over 50 local and national business executives for its annual Sleep Out - Executive Edition on Thursday, November 15. Executives from Cisco, Edward Jones, Ascension, Duke Manufacturing, SSE Inc. and other companies slept outside in the snow and cold to raise awareness of youth homelessness.

On any given night, according to Covenant House Missouri, over 3,000 youth in St. Louis face a night on the streets.

In its past fiscal year, Covenant House Missouri provided 9,530 nights of shelter, serving 232 unique youth – most of them African-American – over the course of the year. It is currently the only provider of emergency shelter and transitional living programs for youth ages 16 to 21 in the City of St. Louis.

The executives who participated in the Sleep Out have raised well over $200,000 for Covenant House Missouri of their $350,000 target for the event. Donations will be accepted through December 31 at https://tinyurl.com/Sleep-Out-executive.
