Tonight more than one million kids will sleep outside on America's streets.

Help is Standing By

Street Outreach
A warm coat, a snack, a listening ear - Our Outreach team provides these and more to youth on the streets of the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. The Outreach team patrols the neighborhoods in the agency van establishing rapport with street youth who often trusts no one.
The Street Outreach team provides services in collaboration with other agencies to ensure youth are protected from the predators on the streets. In addition, runaway and homeless prevention presentations are held at local middle and high schools, juvenile centers, and community centers in an effort to combat homelessness.
Homeless youth are found in abandoned cars, buildings, warehouses, and other unsafe areas and are offered access to:
- Shelter
- Food
- Clothing
- Blankets
- Shower at the Center For Youth
- Laundry facilities
- Information and referrals
- Crisis Intervention
