Rights of Passage

Covenant House Missouri has 16 Rights of Passage - Transitional Living Program (ROP -TLP) beds--eight for girls and eight for boys. Last year, ROP- TLP served 69 youth.

The ROP-TLP suites are located on the third floor of our Center for Youth building. ROP is for homeless girls and boys ages 16-21.  Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ROP-TLP provides a stable living environment for youth who are working on the skills needed for successful independent living.

Components of the ROP-TLP  include not only shelter, but also counseling, budgeting, life skills, employment assistance, educational referrals, and recreational outings. ROP-TLP clients may also continue to access services from the day services provided in the Center for Youth. Residents in the ROP-TLP  may remain in housing for up to 24 months.
