Blue Angels Bike Team

Covenant House Missouri ’s Blue Angels Bike Team has raised over $100,000 in their combined first four years and is aiming for an incredible $72,000 for the 2009 season! Last year, The Blue Angels rode more than 700 miles at "Tour de Tahoe - Bike Big Blue" and they are planning to do it again this year!

Our 5th Annual Bike Ride in Lake Tahoe, Nevada will be this June 2009!

The bike ride starts and finishes at The Horizon Casino Resort in the heart of Lake Tahoe. The course loops up and around Big Blue and covers some of the most beautiful terrain in the Nation. The entire course is 72 miles long; however, bikers can opt for either a shorter path, with only 40 miles or even a longer one for a total of 100 miles. This is your personal choice.

With plenty of room for more, our team currently consists of Julie and John Steinhauser, Pat Corley, Rick Schuchet, Jason Kippenberger, Mike Kniepman, Tom Steuby and our very own CHMO Youth, Ricky Sanchez. The team's coach is Rik Denicke.
