The Forever Young Club is a club that consists of older Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) members who schedule social meetings and develop events that their membership will enjoy. On August 15 the three agencies selected by the Charitable Society, (another club within the club) were given an opportunity to present agency information to the Forever Young Club. After that presentation Covenant House Missouri along with the other two agencies Sunnyhill Camp and Sherwood Forest received checks for $500 per agency in support of our missions.

6.5.08| Open House and Building Dedication
St. Louis religious and community leaders gathered today to dedicate Covenant House Missouri’s Center for Youth—a new resource for homeless and at-risk youth in the City of St. Louis.
CHMO has been working closely with the City of St. Louis since spring of 2005 to prepare for the new center and crisis beds. “The beds that Covent House Missouri will provide a new beginning for many homeless teenagers in St. Louis,” said Mayor Francis G. Slay. “This center will provide vital services to get these teenagers off the streets and get the help they need so they will be able to envision a bright future.”
Bill Siedhoff, Director of the city's Department of Human Services praised Covenant House for opening this new facility and said, "Homeless teenagers present us with one of our most difficult challenges both in terms of understanding the magnitude of the problem and solutions in dealing with it. Covenant House is one of the city's premier service providers for this population and we applaud them for opening this fantastic new facility".
Alderman Quincy Troupe of Ward 1 — where the center is located — said, “One of the most important things about Covenant House Missouri is the opportunity they bring for stability and civility to our community’s youth. Covenant House Missouri is one piece of a larger community who is trying to create an environment that is friendly and hopeful to our youth”.
Among those participating in the dedication were Bill Siedhoff representing St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay; Archbishop Raymond Burke; Sister Patricia Cruise, president, Covenant House International; and Suzanne Wagener, Executive Director, Covenant House Missouri.
